WELCOME TO THE PUERTO RICO SPACE FOUNDATION
OUR MISSION
The Puerto Rico Space Foundation (PRSF) was born from the aspiration to establish an educational and entrepreneurial environment dedicated to the space industry in Puerto Rico. Established in 2023 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under U.S. tax law and Section 1101.01 of the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code, PRSF has been dedicated to advancing space education, entrepreneurship, and workforce development on the island. Through education, research, and strategic partnerships, PRSF aims to connect the Puerto Rican community to the global space economy while cultivating a vibrant ecosystem that fosters innovation, resilience, and greater awareness of our planet.
Our vision is to position Puerto Rico as the Caribbean Space Hub, a global space commerce, research and innovation Hub in the Caribbean and the Americas where space technology, education and local industries converge.

Together, we can make the Caribbean a thriving hub for innovation and exploration in space, and beyond. With the support of our volunteers and donors, we provide opportunities for all to explore space and pursue their dreams.
Our focus is on making science accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience. Our educational programs include microgravity laboratories for schools around the island, with the goal of inspiring students and providing them with hands-on learning experiences. We believe that by working together, we can inspire the next generation of scientists and technologists.
Our dedication is to integrate local industries with the space economy, attract space-faring companies, and nurture entrepreneurship and research & development. By igniting new possibilities and avenues for economic growth, we aim to position Puerto Rico as a leader in space exploration, innovation, and commerce.
